Costs are dependent on a variety of factors, including local operating procedures, grade of steel, raw material costs and quality level required but the trend is obvious – the cost per ton for calcium treatment has decreased significantly. This trend of decreasing cost per ton has been driven by improved and more effective addition techniques for calcium metal.
